Approach
Krittika’s practice is rooted in a mosaic of disciplines: the creative arts, psychology, research and logistics. She practices as a psychologist, a certified expressive arts therapy practitioner (EAT-P) and a trained multidisciplinary performing artist. Her approach leans into a trauma-informed, depth-oriented, existential, culturally-sensitive, strengths-focused and queer-affirmative framework.
Engagements & Associations
She is actively involved with facilitating dynamic spaces that integrate the simplicity of the arts, storytelling, playfulness, research into creating spaces that nurture the creative impulse, work with vulnerability and encourage active critical thinking. She is passionate about contributing to the development of attuned adaptable systems of care that is inclusive, accountable and draws from practical, lived experiences of individuals & communities.
She's closely associated with YAASS-Your Affordable Accessible Safe Space (a unit of Therapeutic Tapestry Pvt. Ltd. previously known as Doctor Drama estd. 2017) as a mental health professional. Additionally, she heads the research and logistics division that furthers her vision for care systems. Her work with partners like The Fundamentals of Sports (TFS), Sarv Shivam Foundation (SSF), All India Catholic University Federation - Maharashtra Wing (AICUF) and Ratan Tata Institute (RTI) across a broad spectrum of individuals, groups and communities, fuels her conviction, work ethic & motivations.
